| Animal camoflage and stealth has always been interesting to me. The uniqueness of this subject became more apparent to me when I started taking and processing wildlife photos of animals against their natural background. Imagine for a moment that you are an animal with black and white vision or very limited color vision at best (this would not be the case for a Raptor which not only has excellent vision but great color vision as well). This Bobcat picture taken by Sandy Wilson shows the difficulty you might have seeing this Bobcat against the high contrast and sometimes shadow filled background of grass and brush.
